Who We Are

The Elliottsville church of Christ is a family of believers who meet regularly to worship God and encourage each other.  We use the term “family” because each member of the Elliottsville church of Christ is a brother or sister in Christ, and that relationship demands devotion to each other and to the faith that we share and live each day.  Our fellowship and love for each other is evident in all that we do, both in and outside of worship services.  We are by no means perfect people, but we strive to serve God to the best of our abilities.

We welcome people from all backgrounds....different age groups, various ethnicities, and social-economic backgrounds.  By uniting ourselves in the purposes of God, we believe that we can be unified as God’s people.

We have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ’s.  We are not governed by any outside organization.  Following Biblical example, we are responsible for our own worship and work, striving for the unity of believers and looking to Biblical examples for our church practices.  Hence, we seek to worship God in the same manner as the early New Testament churches, teaching as they taught and being what they were — followers of Christ committed to bringing His truth to the world.

It is our sincere desire that you will come and visit with us.  We believe that you will find our practices consistent with the Bible and trust that you will find our church family a place where you are welcome and could truly feel at home. We want to be saved in Heaven to live with God and we are interested in helping you find that same hope.
