The church of Christ at Elliottsville is a non-denominational group of
Christians. We look to the Bible as our only source of authority,
because we believe it is the inspired word of God.
We hope you'll take time to look through the different links and resources
we have available. If you'd like to learn more about us, simply follow
this link. We also have links to our
service times,
directions, and
sermon downloads.
Have you ever asked that question? If not, you should! It is the most important question that
you can ask! The answer to the question "What must I do to be saved?" is very important, and
the Bible is the only place that we can find the real answer.
Right now, our Sunday morning adult and high school Bible classes are studying
History and
Geography of the Bible Story by Bob and Sandra Waldron. It is an excellent study that
is full of information and detailed maps. Understanding the geography of the Bible lands
helps explain why certain events occurred and develops a more vivid picture of the histories.
On Wednesday evenings, the adult class is focusing on the book of James.
We are using a workbook
developed by Frank Jamerson. The study encourages
discussion, and some of the book's main themes are endurance, action, and wisdom.
The children's classes have been going through a chronological study of the entire Bible story.
At this point, they are studying the book of
Acts.
